Probably not. It was really boring until the end, when The Dark Knight took all the major awards and Queen Latifah gave them out all at once following a video tribute to the film. Christian Bale mentioned Heath Ledger, and basically everyone in the audience lost their shit, and rightfully so!
The Critics Choice Awards (NOT to be confused with the People's Choice Awards) airs tomorrow, and while I wouldn't call it the main precursor to look for when making your Oscar picks, it will still be about 10,000x more fun to watch than the People's Choice. Not to mention actual critics get to vote instead of silly teenagers who go into labor over any of the leading men from Grey's Anatomy.
